This edition is a variant of vdm 236 (VD16 M 5608). In each edition, the colophon is the same (dated 5 January 1505), but the preface (from bishop Wiguleus Fröschl) has been completely reset. In this edition, the preface (fol. [α]2v) is dated 5 January 1505 (“Datum in ciuitate nostra Patauieñ De ãno dñice natiuitatꝭ || Millesimo quingentesimoquinto Die quinta mensis Januarij”).

The full-length staff lines are made from seven pieces, each 21.5 mm long. The staff lines on the pages where the music is set in two columns are 78 x 17 mm. Each short staff is made of three pieces 22.25 mm long and three pieces 3 mm long. F-clef looks like a 3. Possibly printed in triple impression.
