It appears that the red is printed over the black: first the notes and black text, then the red initials, stave lines and red text (rubrics). Two music fonts are used.

Smaller font (XCVIv-CXv): full-length staff: 165 x 13.5 mm; height of virga: 6 mm. Height from top of top staff to bottom of bottom staff: 264.5 mm.
Larger font: (CXIr): full-length staff: 65 x 16.6 mm; height of virga: 7.4 mm
