Comments on notation:

Hufnagel notation is printed on two to five lines. The mensural notation is printed on four and five lines. The quality of the musical examples is quite low. Unlike the 1507 Cologne edition printed by Landen (vdm 540), this edition does not give any scalae compositoriae. Short musical examples in the margins (mostly printed with three lines) can be found throughout the whole print.
